  • Non-Medical Disclaimer: These services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological care, diagnosis, or treatment. I am not a licensed medical doctor or clinical psychiatrist. If you are experiencing severe mental health challenges or medical issues, please consult a licensed healthcare professional.

2. Booking and Payment

  • 1:1 Coaching: Appointments can be booked via meg@findingbalancewithmeg.com or through Cal.com. Payment for single sessions is due immediately after the session unless otherwise agreed. • Workshops & Group Events: Registration for workshops and events takes place through designated ticketing platforms (such as Hipsy and Meetup) or via direct invoice. Payment is required in advance to secure your spot.

3. Packages, Event Tickets, and Refunds

  • 1:1 Coaching Packages: For coaching packages purchased online, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period in accordance with Dutch consumer law. If sessions begin within this period, the right to a full refund will be reduced or waived for sessions already delivered. Unused sessions in a package are non-refundable. Purchased coaching sessions do not expire.

  • Event & Workshop Tickets (Statutory Exemption): In accordance with Dutch consumer law regarding leisure events booked for a specific date or time, ticket purchases for workshops and events are not subject to the statutory 14-day cooling-off period.

  • Ticket Cancellations & Transfers:

    • Workshop tickets are non-refundable unless stated otherwise on the specific event registration page.

    • If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or colleague, provided you notify me of their name and contact details prior to the event.

  • Event Cancellation by Finding balance with Meg: In the rare event that a workshop or walk must be canceled or rescheduled by me (due to illness, venue issues, extreme weather, or unforeseen emergencies), you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a rescheduled date. Finding balance with Meg is not liable for any secondary travel or accommodation expenses incurred.

4. 1:1 Coaching Cancellation and Late Arrivals

  • Cancellations for individual coaching sessions must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session by contacting me at meg@findingbalancewithmeg.com.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, or no-shows, are charged in full.

  • If you arrive late for an individual session, the session will conclude at the originally scheduled time.

  • If I must reschedule an individual session, I will provide as much notice as possible and arrange an alternative time.

5. Participant Responsibilities, Health, and Safety

  • Self-Care & Autonomy: All practices offered- including but not limited to guided meditation, mindfulness exercises, gentle movement, sound healing, and group walks- are voluntary invitations. You are responsible for honoring your own boundaries, listening to your body, and adapting, pausing, or opting out of any exercise at any time.

  • Physical & Mental Health: You agree to inform me of any physical limitations, injuries, pregnancy, medical conditions, or sensory sensitivities (e.g., sensitivity to acoustic vibration or sound instruments) that may affect your participation.

  • Outdoor Walks: Wonder Walks take place outdoors in public spaces, parks, and urban areas. You are responsible for dressing appropriately for the weather, wearing suitable footwear, navigating terrain safely, adhering to road and traffic laws, and looking after your personal belongings.

  • Group Atmosphere: Participants in workshops and walks agree to treat fellow attendees and facilitators with mutual respect, kindness, and consideration. I reserve the right to ask any participant exhibiting disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior to leave without a refund.

6. Confidentiality

Information shared in one-on-one sessions is strictly confidential and handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy, disclosed only where required by law or where there is reasonable concern of serious harm to yourself or others.

  • Group Privacy: Participants in workshops and walks agree to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of personal reflections shared by other attendees within the group.

  • Photography & Media: To preserve a safe and restorative space, recording or photographing other participants without their explicit prior consent is strictly prohibited. If I intend to take any promotional photos of the space, I will inform the group in advance and respect anyone who prefers not to appear.

7. Referrals to Other Practitioners or Professionals

If I believe that you may benefit from the support of another practitioner or professional and that I am not able to support you, I may suggest a referral. I will discuss this with you under no obligation.
